Just finished this painting. I plan on doing a series in the beach scene genre. Water is one of my favorite subjects to paint. It is ever changing & fun to interpret with various techniques. The starfish is done with texture gels, metallic paint and topped off with metal beads. I hope you enjoy this painting.

New art-“Seven Sisters”
I love to paint flowers! This is a new painting of delightful daffodils. They are bursting forth from an abstract background, dancing and showing off their pretty pink petals. The seed heads are done with metal beads. Painted on a gallery wrapped canvas. I couldn’t wait for it to dry so I could put them up on the wall! I have dedicated them to the last few weeks of spring. I hope they make you smile too!
The Art Place Gallery Show 2013
This year has been a little crazy. But a highlight for me was being a part of the Art Place Gallery show in April. I was super excited to see my reverse glass paintings in the center displayed! What a lovely surprise. The other artists were so talented. All the works were top notch! Thanks to all of you who were able to attend.

That’s ART! We don’t need that…or do we?
While setting up my art booth for a festival on Marietta Square, I saw a sweet little boy trying to get his mother to come closer for a look at my awesome rhino painting. All he wanted was a look and maybe a touch of the textured horn. I would have loved to share the secret about that painting! (All my art has a secret within.) As his mom dragged him away, she said, ” That’s ART. We don’t need that! ” Hey mom, looking is free, besides, why are you at an art festival if you aren’t going to look at art? Funnel cake? As an artist and decorative painter, I transform my clients environment with color and creativity. I decided then to make it my mission to bring art and beauty to anybody who is looking to change their work or home environments for the better. I want to share the fun, positive and transformative aspects of enjoying creativity. I will be adding my new work for sale, newly completed decorating projects, as well as finding other artists, gallery owners, decorators and creative people, to inspire you. Because, you DO need art! Stay tuned…
